I could probably attribute my thirst for data to many aspects of my life and personality. I’m excited to take my penchant for data analytics and my career to the next level through UC Davis’ MSBA program.
Dean Unnava shares our Big 3 stories of the month: our recent grads’ new careers, a new online program in partnership with EduMind and our faculty advising CalPERS on environmental, social and governance factors.
“I’m directly contributing to Tesla’s mission to revolutionize multiple industries toward a sustainable future, by providing creative approaches to solving problems. My UC Davis MBA prepared me well for this challenge.”
“I am able to immediately apply my classroom education to day-to-day decisions at work. Now I’m a more data- and process-driven contributor. I’ve learned how to collaborate better in teams, effectively negotiate with stakeholders and—most importantly—manage time.”
“So when I start at KPMG, I can communicate with a client from the get-go and I know I might be better prepared than someone who can’t communicate quite as well. We are learning how to communicate in different ways.”
“It’s exciting to be a leader at one of the nation’s largest credit unions, bringing value to our members across California and giving back to the Sacramento region as we help Golden 1 Center become a reality.”
“From world-class professors, to classmates who became team partners and close friends, to the unparalleled extracurricular activities, the UC Davis MBA program is an incredible experience–and has opened doors to some fascinating opportunities.”

We had to make a lot of adjustments, given my previous career in the military, moving from out of state and the fact that our son was born during the first week of orientation.”
“At Mars I had the chance to contribute to a major corporation as it develops business models that link profit and social/environmental benefit. I’m proud to be at the forefront of a movement that sees opportunity, rather than risk, in emerging food markets.”
