The cap is worn with the long point of the shell to the rear. The tassel is worn to the left signifying the possession of an academic degree. However, when crossing the stage, wear tassel to the right for photographic purposes.

4 weeks after the end of the quarter
All grades are confirmed and your name is included on the final degree list sent to the Office of the University Registrar. We confirm with you at this time your name was on the final degree list. If you need to print letters for employer reimbursement, you should do so immediately since your access will be cancelled within 10 days of receiving an email confirming degree requirements have been met.
Waiver exams are offered only once each year in the months prior to the quarter in which the course is offered. If you plan to take any waiver exams, you must register for them by the deadlines. Deadlines for Fall 2015 waiver exams will be posted soon.
You may be exempted from the requirement to take certain core courses with the approval of the designated faculty member. Exemption, if granted, does not award course credit and you would take an additional elective to replace the exempted course.
