Big Bang! Winners Would Use Tobacco Plants to Produce Vaccines

Inserogen, the winning team in the 2010 Big Bang! Business Plan Competition, says the tobacco plant could be used to produce vaccines more quickly and cheaply than traditional methods. The team was awarded the $15,000 prize; they chose tobacco over other plants because it grows quickly and is not a food crop.
