Farooq is a 2014 MBA candidate focusing on Entrepreneurship & Marketing. He has a Masters degree from University of Manchester (United Kingdom) where he studied Computer Science & Engineering. Currently he works in San Jose for Cisco Systems as Sr. Software Engineer. He hopes to start his own venture in the next five years. He loves talking to new people, making new friends and maintaining his existing friendships. During his spare time, Farooq loves to stay home and spend time with his family.

Chinmay is a 2014 MBA Candidate focusing on Marketing, Strategy & Innovation at the University of California, Davis. He also holds a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry and Computer Science from UC Davis. Professionally, he currently works as a Systems & Software Marketing Manager at Cepheid Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA. He has acquired over 10 years of experience in life sciences and healthcare fields. Varying experiences through multiple positions within the industry from R&D, to Operations, and most recently in Business Development and Marketing has provided him the opportunity to understand business model and practices extremely well. As a Marketing Manager, he has successfully launched 3 new products and managed the life cycle of 2 others. His specific areas of expertise are in Product Management, Strategic Planning, US and Global Medical Device Markets, Systems and Software. Chinmay enjoys spending his free time traveling, hiking and working on his lawn and garden.

Brad is currently a 2nd year student at the GSM and is expected to graduate summer of 2014. His concentration is in marketing. After graduating from UC Santa Barbara in English literature, Brad traveled the world as an English teacher for several years in places such as Barcelona, Taipei, and finally back to his native San Francisco Bay Area. Brad has held positions in high tech companies and has recently completed an internship at Autodesk, where he was assigned to a marketing strategy project for the summer. In his spare time, Brad likes to play golf, discover new eateries, and enjoy the outdoors.

Dina is a 2015 MBA Candidate focusing on Marketing and Strategy, and current VP of Communications for the Bay Area Marketing Association. Dina is a 2010 graduate of UC Davis, where she studied Political Science and minored in expository writing. After reporting for a few established newspapers and magazines, as well as teaching in college settings, Dina decided to move her love for writing and public speaking towards a marketing career. She has worked as a digital marketing professional for the last couple years and looks forward to the adventures ahead! In her spare time, Dina enjoys reading non-textbooks and playing basketball.
Brian A. Joubran
Co-Vice President of Communications
Brian is a 2015 MBA Candidate focusing on Finance and Marketing. He is a graduate of UC San Diego with a double major in Literatures of the World and Writing, with an emphasis in film and popular culture. He holds a paralegal certificate from the UC San Diego Extensions program, and currently works as the communications manager for the Alameda-Contra Costa Medical Association. Prior to this, he has worked as a legislative correspondent and staff assistant for two members of congress in Washington D.C., and as a deputy campaign manager for a successful congressional primary in the Central Valley. Brian was born in Michigan, raised in San Diego, and recently moved to the Bay Area in 2011 to take in its diverse culture. In his free time, he likes to travel and enjoys coordinating pickup basketball games and attending hikes with his fellow Bay Area classmates.
