Graduate Accounting Club
The Graduate Accounting Club (GAC) enhances the value of the Master of Professional Accountancy (MPAc) student experience by creating a collaborative community that facilitates academic, ethical, social and professional growth.

The GAC provides a framework for generating ideas to improve the MPAc program, networking with alumni, engaging in philanthropic activities, and coordinating extracurricular events.

Daniel Covrig, PresidentDaniel Covrig

President

Daniel is a 2017 MPAc candidate. After attaining his bachelor’s from UC Davis he pursued interests in biotechnology and entrepreneurship before deciding to specialize in accounting. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his dogs, Mouse and Palmer. After graduation Daniel is pursuing a career in public accounting. Connect on LinkedIn

 

Hannah Brinkman, Vice PresidentHannah Brinkman 

Vice President

Hannah graduated from UC Davis as a managerial economics major and went directly into the MPAc program. In her free time she draws, paints and plays video games. Someday, she hopes to be the go-to forensic accountant. Connect on LinkedIn

 

 

Helen Trinh, Director of Finance and OperationsHelen Trinh 

Director of Finance and Operations

Helen is a 2017 MPAc candidate; she received her bachelor’s in finance from CSU Sacramento in 2016. She enjoys Netflixing and hanging out with friends in her spare time. After graduation, Helen plans to pursue a career in public accounting. Connect on LinkedIn

 

Greg Elliott, Director of Marketing and Social CommunicationsGreg Elliott 

Director of Marketing and Social Communication

As the MPAc director of marketing and social communication, Greg enjoys catching his classmates’ MPAc experience. Beyond the dedicated hours of studying, he enjoys the outdoors and is an avid sports fan. A Northern Bay Area native, Greg can often be found watching his San Francisco Giants or Golden State Warriors. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in managerial economics from UC Davis in June 2016. He previously served as a core assurance intern with PwC and is excited to start his career in public accounting this fall with the firm in San Francisco. Connect on LinkedIn

Director of International Relations
