2017 Solarthon sponsored by Net Impact
Helping install a solar PV system for a low-income family in Sacramento
On May 20, 2017, UC Davis MBA Net Impact will sponsor and help install a solar PV system for a low-income family living in the North City Farms Neighborhood of Sacramento.
This will be one of seven solar installation block parties that bring together UC Davis and the Sacramento community. It also aligns with a long-standing tradition at the GSM of being committed to the triple bottom line—social, environmental and financial. Our nationally recognized Davis Net Impact chapter sets this example for fellow students and the greater region.
HELP US RAISE FUNDS FOR A SOLAR ELECTRIC SYSTEM BENEFITING A LOCAL FAMILY IN NEED
Last year, we supported Solarthon by raising $5,295 and installing a solar photovoltaic system for a low-income family in West Sacramento. This year, Davis Net Impact students invite you to support this commitment by helping us reach our fundraising goal of $5,000, which will go towards the project costs of the system.
Any contribution will help make a positive impact in our local communities and show that UC Davis alumni lead the charge in creating positive, innovative change in Northern California.
