Dane Christensen earned his Bachelors of Arts in German from Oregon State University in 2003, he then attended The University of Oregon where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 2004 and Master of Accounting in 2005.

He is currently attending Arizona State where he is antipicated to graduate in 2013 with a Ph.D. in Accounting. His  research interest include corporate misconduct, corporate accountability reporting,  influence of political forces on accounting.
