Colin Biggs divides his time between Davis, where he taught the Articulation and Critical Thinking core course and an elective on crisis communications, and Rome, Italy, where he is a management consultant and visiting professor.
He has 20 years of experience in management consultancy with
KPMG and
PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). His consulting focus has been on
managing change in the public sector – arguably the toughest
clients for many reasons. At PwC he led a global consulting team
specializing in tertiary (university-level) education, with
governments, ministries, universities, and even individual
business schools as clients.
He has worked in the U.K., U.S., continental Europe, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia.
Other universities where he has visited as an instructor include Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, Sussex, Yale and Stanford.
He holds a B.A. and M.A. degree from the University of Oxford, a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge, and an Executive M.B.A. from the London Business School.
