David Petroni has nearly 15 years of executive experience in hi-tech M&A, including 20+ completed transactions valued at over $4 billion. During 2011, as SVP Corporate Development at Activant Solutions, Mr. Petroni completed a $2 billion merger between Activant, Epicor Software and funds associated with Apax Partners. Prior to Activant, Mr. Petroni served senior corporate development and/or finance roles at PeopleSoft, Vignette/OnDisplay and General Electric Company. At PeopleSoft, Mr. Petroni led the $1.8 billion merger with JD Edwards and helped in the hostile defense against Oracle.
