Lecturer Suzy Taherian has over 20 years of experience across the international finance spectrum. She started her career with Exxon and Chevron in various roles, including controller, M&A, international financing, trading, and internal controls. Looking for a different challenge, she transitioned to small rapidly-growing companies. She is currently CFO of eCullet, a technology company in glass processing with several plants across US.
She has had opportunities to work on projects in different countries around the globe, some of which include China, Thailand, Indonesia, Russia, UK, Brazil, Venezuela, Angola and Nigeria. In addition to her work around the world, she has enjoyed living in Buenos Aires, Argentina for 2 years.
She is currently teaching the International Finance MBA course at UC Davis. She also served on boards of Central City Hospitality House and Chevron Credit Union for several years.
Taherian holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from UC Davis.
