A recognized expert on managerial accounting, Professor Michael Maher is also an authority on corporate crime (e.g., fraud, bribery, antitrust). He develops profiles on companies and managers that commit corporate misconduct, and studies and lectures on corporate ethics and the responsibilities of business and auditors to stakeholders.

Currently a Lecturer with the Department of Statistics at UC Davis, Rahman has extensive teaching experience and strives to create an interactive and encouraging learning environment, full of creativity and inspiration. He was previously the Chair in the Department of Mathematics at the National University of Iran as well as a Research Assistant in Statistics at George Washington University. He has a BS from the University of Tehran and an MPH and Ph.D. from George Washington University.

As a teenager in Laredo, Tex., Delia Perez yearned for a bigger world.
“Growing up first generation Mexican-American, I was fascinated by cultural diversity,” she remembers. “I was very interested in the French language, but there were no opportunities to study it. So I researched study-abroad programs and started working as a tutor and saving my money. I convinced my parents to send me to France and embarked on a journey that changed my life.”

Prior to joining the EEC, Mr. Finkelor served in a variety of roles within the Clean Technology sector, including Director of Business Development for a local clean energy start-up company, Interim Executive Director for CleanStart (a Sacramento-based business incubator supporting local clean energy technology ventures and entrepreneurs), and as a Cleantech Analyst for the private equity arm of the California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS).
