Dr. Hosanager has been recognized as one of the world’s top 40 business professors under 40. He has received several teaching awards including the MBA and Undergraduate Excellence in Teaching awards at the Wharton School. His research has received several awards including the best paper award at the Consortium on Technology Policy and Management.
Professor Neslin’s expertise includes database marketing, sales promotion, and marketing mix models. He has researched the application of predictive modeling for cross-selling and identifying customer “churners,” evaluated the effectiveness of loyalty programs, and examined the determinants of customer channel migration and “research shopping”. He has investigated the impact of promotion on consumer stockpiling, brand loyalty, and consumption, as well as the role of dvertising in reinforcing brand loyalty.
Pingyang Gao studies disclosure regulation, accounting standards setting, incentive and contracting, and equity valuation. He has taught MBA- and PhD-level courses at Yale University and lectured in the China Professional Manager Qualification Program.
Dr. Towry’s research relates to the use of accounting information for managerial decision making, with a special focus on managerial control systems and financial incentives. She has extensive experience in managerial accounting and finance, having spent 9 years at Exxon Company, USA and Compaq Computer Corp.
