As the Assistant Director of Academic Operations and Planning, Alyssa Marks manages the GSM Academic Personnel process, including the merit and promotion review process, courtesy and visiting academic appointments, faculty recruitments, and other academic personnel duties. She ensures that the GSM is in compliance with Academic Senate and Academic Personnel policies and she provides academic personnel recommendations to the Associate Dean after thorough policy research.

Louey joined the UC Davis Graduate School of Management as Director of Strategic Communications in December 2013. The position is part of the School’s Marketing and Communications team.
She is responsible for overseeing media relations for the School, helping to raise the visibility of the School to a wide variety of audiences including media, bloggers, influencers, alumni, higher education administrators, business leaders, and the School’s diverse constituencies through all channels, ranging from print, web and social media.
Amanda Steidlmayer is the lead staff member regarding academic affairs at the Graduate School of Management. She and her staff oversee the development and administration of curriculum and course schedules, as well all academic operations. The Academic Operations and Planning group also manages all academic personnel matters including compensation, and instructional deployment. Finally, she coordinates staff efforts regarding the school accreditation status, assessment of learning goals, and general academic research and analysis.
