On Friday, May 17th, C4C Will be volunteering at the Boys & Girls Club Broke Ball Luau.
Broke Ball Luau is the Boys & Girls Club’s one special night that benefits the hundreds of young children and teens at the Boys & Girls Club. It is their only annual fundraising event, and is attended by over 300 people.
Our volunteers will be helping at the actual event rather than setting up, which means it will be tons of fun! Entertainment includes the Leataata Dancers and a special performance by the Okuba Judo Club.
On Saturday, May 18th, C4C will be volunteering at Special Olympics’ Track & Field Competition.
The Special Olympics hosts several sporting events throughout the year. The kids are great, and volunteering at these events are a way to give back while still having fun. Plus, at the Track & Field Competition, our volunteers get to hand out the awards, which is the best part!
We will be volunteering from 8 to 4pm in shifts of 4 hours. Friends and significant others are welcome to join us.

Big Bang! is the annual UC Davis business plan competition organized by MBA students at the Graduate School of Management.
Students will be asked to donate one day’s pay in support of their peers who have accepted internships with low pay at businesses and organizations that make an impact. Pizza will be provided. Students can apply for the scholarship during the month of May. The event will be held in the Dorf Classroom in Gallagher Hall
