The UC Davis Graduate School of Management is pleased to announce the kickoff of the 2016 Leadership Fellows Program for our part-time MBA students. This program is intended to help participants understand leadership, build self-awareness, and strengthen leadership capabilities. The Leadership Fellows Program is designed to complement the UC Davis MBA core curriculum and continue the school’s mission to prepare innovative leaders for global impact. This training series gives participants additional tools to boost both leadership skills and professional achievement.

Alumni Awards Committee
Established in 2003, each year the Alumni Association recognizes two GSM graduates who embrace our core values of passionate, energetic leadership, and a continued advocacy of team building and service. Committee of approximately eight work together to conduct research on alumni award nominees; attend one meeting/year; attend event where winners are recognized. (Time commitment 4-6 hrs/year.)

Financial Management is the flagship journal of FMA which seeks high quality articles that are of interest to academics, but also have the potential to influence business practice.

Each year, we look forward to Silicon Valley Bank’s State of the Industry Wine Report. Last week, they presented their 2013 findings with a webcast hosted by Rob McMillan, founder of Silicon Valley Bank’s wine division and author of the report, Paul Mabray of VinTank, Tony Correia of The Correia Company and Mary Jo Dale of KLH Consulting.

Submitted papers were peer-reviewed and rated by at least one member of the Program Committee. Papers were evaluated based on the quality of the analysis and the relevance of the paper’s topic for the Symposium. These ratings were combined to create a composite score for each paper. The Program Chairs selected the final papers from among the top 15 submissions with the highest composite scores. These papers will be presented at the Symposium on June 7, 2013.
