Professor Christopher Armstrong’s research focuses primarily on corporate governance, with an emphasis on executive incentive compensation contracts. Professor Armstrong’s research has been published in top-tier academic journals including The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Accounting and Economics, and The Review of Accounting Studies. He received a PhD in Accounting from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
Dr. Soderstrom’s research investigates how institutional and environmental factors influence managers’ decisions. Her work has appeared in major journals both in the U.S. and Europe, including Journal of Accounting and Economics; The Accounting Review; Journal of Accounting Research. Dr. Soderstrom’s primary teaching interests are in the areas of managerial accounting and control systems.
Professor Netzer’s research interests focus on customer relationships, preference measurement, and modeling various aspects of choice behavior, including how choices change over time, contexts, and consumers. Professor Oded teaches a core marketing course to undergraduate students and a course in Marketing Research to MBA and Executive MBA students.
Professor Nagarajan’s research interests are in the areas of corporate governance, performance measurement and incentive contracts and the interface between law and financial economics. His teaching interests are in Corporate Governance and Management Control, Managerial Accounting and Strategic Cost Management.
Chandra Kanodia earned his PhD in industrial administration from Carnegie Mellon University where he also received his master’s in accounting. He also holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management. He serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Accounting Research and the Review of Accounting Studies.
