Distinguished Achievement Award – Honors alumni who have distinguished themselves in their professional and personal lives.
The San Francisco Alumni Network (SFAN) is a Graduate School of Management alumni affiliate group open to GSM alumni and students. If you are interested in meeting and networking with fellow GSM constituents, we encourage you to join us at our quarterly events in downtown San Francisco.
We invite you to join our community on Facebook and our LinkedIn subgroup—and to attend our events. For more information, contact Steven Calderaro ‘03. If you would like to help with this group, please let us know!
It is our intention to create a relationship-building platform so people can network for any reason: to learn new business strategies and skills; build alliances; and share referrals, successes, ideas, experiences and goals. This group can be whatever we make of it.
The Graduate School of Management Alumni Association’s networking groups offer myriad opportunities to connect with the School and to expand your social and professional networking worlds.
We currently have three regional chapters in Northern California, and are open to establishing new chapters by geographic region, industry or affinity group. Please contact Mary Ciricillo Maffly, director of development and alumni relations, for more information.
The Graduate School of Management’s Alumni Association (GSMAA) annually awards fellowships to one student from each of the School’s four programs: Full-Time MBA, Sacramento MBA, Bay Area MBA, and Master of Professional Accountancy (MPAc).
Student recipients are provided with a cash gift that is applied toward the cost of their education. A portion of alumni gifts to the GSM Annual Giving Campaign each year are dedicated to these fellowships.
Established in 2003, each year the Alumni Association recognizes two GSM graduates who embrace our core values of passionate, energetic leadership, and a continued advocacy of team building and service.
The Graduate School of Management Alumni Association (GSMAA) is governed by a group of alumni volunteers who serve on the board of directors. The board meets at least three times a year to plan events and ensure that alumni have a strong voice in the ongoing growth and development of the School. The board’s mission is to facilitate strong affiliations among alumni, students, faculty, staff and the communities that we share.
