The UC Davis Graduate School of Management extends a special thank you to our generous donors who supported a variety of priority initiatives during the 2014-2015 fiscal year. We are pleased to share that the School received over $1.1 million in cash, pledges, pledge payments, bequests, and in-kind donations from 939 donors. Your contributions are invested in the School, resulting in significant enhancements to further its mission of preparing leaders for global impact. We sincerely appreciate your support.
Dean’s Executive Circle Donor Society
We wish to recognize our Dean’s Executive Circle members, who have made gifts of $1,000 or more to the School during fiscal year 2014-15. Contributions to the Dean’s Executive Circle have grown with 91 individuals contributing more than $931,300.
Dean’s Executive Circle members created two new endowments to provide the Gary Simon Big Bang! Business Competition CleanTech Award and the Graduate School of Management Alumni Association Board of Directors Fund.
Alumni Giving and Participation
This is the second year that total alumni giving has exceeded $200,000!
Alumni generously supported the School with donations totaling $205,800. 13.3 percent of our alumni gave back to the School this year.
Congratulations to the Full-Time MBA Class of 2010 for reaching the highest alumni class participation in giving to the School at 37 percent!
Class Gift Campaigns & Program Endowments
The 2015 Class Gift Campaign was a great success! Over $34,000 was raised by students and friends of the School.
Both the Full-time MBA and MPAc classes reached 100 percent participation among classmates.
Additionally, the School received $74,000 from alumni, students, faculty and friends as part of a year-end fundraising initiative to increase our student program endowment level to $1 million, (led by the Full-time MBA Class of 2000). Endowments currently total $1,027,191.
As of June 30, 2015, the program endowment values are:
Full-Time MBA program: $720,703 (9 percent increase from June 30, 2014)
Bay Area and Sacramento MBA programs: $292,139 (11 percent increase from June 30, 2014)
Master of Professional Accountancy: $14,349 (94 percent increase from June 30, 2014)
Interest earned from these funds provide resources for the School that aren’t funded by state support, tuition, and fees, such as fellowships, enhanced corporate outreach, leadership and professional development workshops, and networking events.
Business Partners and Friends
The Business Partnership Program recognizes organizations that give $2,500 or more to the School annually. During 2014-15, the School had 53 Business Partner member organizations who contributed over $190,430.
Thank you to all of our donors.
