Admit Day at UC Davis is a unique opportunity for you to experience life as a UC Davis Graduate School of Management (GSM) student and to meet your future classmates. Faculty, current students and alumni will share with you their perspectives on the various aspects of the GSM. We look forward to having you visit campus and the city of Davis.

9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Activities include:

  • 9:00 a.m. – (Optional) UC Davis campus walking tour (please wear 
                                           comfortable shoes).
  • 10:00 a.m. – Registration & Continental Breakfast with MBA students
  • 10:30 a.m. – Welcome from Sr. Assistant Dean, James Stevens and Director
                                             of Academic and Student Services, Inger Maher
  • 11:30 a.m. – Current student panel
  • 12:30 p.m. – Lunch
  • 1:30 p.m. – Class Session with Professor Andrew Hargadon
  • 3:00 p.m. – Faculty Panel with Dean Steven Currall
  • 4:00 p.m. – Reception with the Dean, faculty, alumni and current students
  • 6:00 p.m. – Conclusion of official Admit Day
  • 6:15 p.m. – (Optional) Continue to network with current MBA students and visit
                       Downtown Davis

Directions and Parking Information

Map & Directions to Gallagher Hall

Parking is available at Parking Lot 1 across from the Welcome Center or in the South Entry Parking Structure. An $8 permit is required to park and permits are available from kiosks located in the lot. If you would like to request a parking permit please visit the main desk in Gallagher Hall before parking your vehicle.

Suggested Attire

Suggested attire is business casual.  Please bring comfortable walking shoes if you plan on taking the optional UC Davis campus walking tour.  Click here to see the most current weather conditions.

Stay the weekend and experience life and culture of a collegiate town.  Davis is known for bicycles, farmers markets, wine and imported London double-decker buses to just name a few.  Discover the many offering of Davis and the campus.
