Admit Day at UC Davis is a unique opportunity for you to experience life as a UC Davis Graduate School of Management (GSM) student and to meet your future classmates. Faculty, current students and alumni will share with you their perspectives on the various aspects of the GSM. We look forward to having you visit campus and giving you a taste of what Davis has to offer through our community, collaboration, quality and commitment to our students.

  • 9:00 a.m. -    Registration & Continental Breakfast with MBA students
  • 9:30 a.m. –    Get to know your fellow admits
  • 10:00 a.m. -  Welcome and overview from:
  • 11:30 a.m. – Lunch with current students
  • 1:00 p.m. –   Class Session with Professor Brad Barber
  • 2:45 p.m. -   Current Student Panel
  • 4:00 p.m. –   Reception with the Dean, faculty, alumni and current students
  • 4:30 p.m. -   Taste of Davis
  • 6:00 p.m. –   Conclusion of official Admit Day
  • 6:15 p.m. –   (Optional) Continue to network with current MBA students and visit
                         Downtown Davis

Directions and Parking Information

Map & Directions to Gallagher Hall

Parking is available at Parking Lot 1 across from the Welcome Center or in the South Entry Parking Structure. An $8 permit is required to park and permits are available from kiosks located in the lot. If you would like to request a parking permit please visit the main desk in Gallagher Hall before parking your vehicle.

Suggested Attire

Suggested attire is business casual.  Please bring comfortable walking shoes if you plan on taking the optional UC Davis campus walking tour.  Click here to see the most current weather conditions.

Stay the weekend and experience life and culture of a collegiate town.  Get a taste of Davis and experience a community that is known for bicycles, farmers markets, wine and imported London double-decker buses.  Discover the many offering of the City of Davis and the campus.

8:00 p.m. – yMUSIC – UC Davis Mondavi Center
Anytime – Transmedia Davis Art Walk – City of Davis
Anytime – Ride or stroll through the UC Davis Arboretum, greenbelts and 100+ miles of bicycle lanes
