Completing Your Degree
Information for students preparing to graduate

Students who are preparing to graduate should follow the following guidelines, steps and deadlines. It is the students responsibility to stay informed in order to file for graduation appropriately.

Graduation Requirements:

  • Complete a minimum of 72 units
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better

Please refer to your respective Student Handbooks if you need further information on graduation requirements.

Application for Candidacy

You must file an Application for Candidacy with your program manager in the quarter preceding your last quarter. These forms and the deadlines are available below. Missing the candidacy deadline delays awarding your degree.

The deadlines for each quarter are posted on the Academic Calendar. Be sure to complete and return your forms to your Program Manager by the listed dates. Please note: Failure to meet the posted deadline results in the $250 registration penalty being charged to your account and
may result in a one quarter delay in receiving your diploma.
