Reserving the Sacramento Education Building

The UC Davis Graduate School of Management is pleased to offer its Business Partners the special benefit of using space at our Sacramento teaching facility. This page highlights the various options, and accompanying features and amenities available for your company’s meetings and seminars.
The auditoriums and classrooms are available free of charge, Monday-Friday from 7 a.m.-4 p.m. to current Business Partners:
- Senior Partner ($2,500–$4,999) – four reservations per year
- Managing Partner ($5,000–$9,999) – eight reservations per year.
- Director ($10,000 and above) – twelve reservations per year.
A reservation consists of 1 room per day. Usage of our Sacramento teaching facility is an exclusive benefit for our Business Partners and is not transferrable to other organizations.
Rooms at the UC Davis Graduate School of Management Sacramento Campus-Education Building are open Monday-Friday, 7 am- 4 pm. All reservations are subject to availability and approval by the facility scheduling committee. Three week prior notice to ensure availability is suggested. To check availability or for questions, please contact Gabe Coleman.
Please provide your own staff support for such tasks as running the audio/visual equipment or handling of catering/food needs. More information regarding catering is located below. If this is your first time using this facility, please arrange ahead of time for a tour of the facility and a demonstration of the A/V equipment you intend to use in your reserved space. Your company is responsible for making your own catering arrangements. We ask that caterers remove any nondisposable items immediately following an event. Additional tables and/or chairs cannot be provided—those located in the rooms are not moveable. We sincerely appreciate your cooperation.
The UC Davis Sacramento Education Building is just minutes from downtown. It offers accessible parking, a café off the first-floor lobby and the best in audio-visual technology.

150-Seat Auditorium – Room 1222 or 2222
60-Seat Auditorium – Room 1204

- Desks with electrical outlets
- Wireless microphones
- Dual-screen projection
- Document projector, DVD
- PC provided, laptop capable
- Video & audio conferencing, video & audio recording
30- or 16- seat classrooms are also available, with similar AV equipment.
Audio and Video conferencing can be done room-to-room, or to offsite locations.
NOTE: We can also provide use of the Marriot Courtyard’s auditorium (seats up to 200), directly adjacent to the Education Building. This space is available during evenings as well.
Parking & Signage
Pre-arranged visitor parking in the lots closest to the Education Building and directional signage is provided with your reservation, at the daily rate of $6 per space. The maximum number of spaces that can be reserved are 15. If you require more than 15 parking spaces, we will need to arrange for a valet which costs $2/hour/vehicle. We will bill you directly after your event for any parking-related fees. Note: if your event is held at the Marriott, parking is complimentary.
Café and Catering
“Scrubs” Café is a full-service coffee shop on the first floor of the Education Building. In addition, catering is available from UC Davis Health System Catering (916-734-8825), or from any of the UC Davis approved vendors.
Business Partners using the Marriot auditorium are required to use Marriott Courtyard’s in-house catering. More information is available regarding Marriott’s catering when making your reservation.
