The quarter-long, co-curricular program will accelerate your knowledge of the operations and sustainable practices in a multi-faceted, global industry. Agribusiness must find ways to make the process of growing and meeting the rising demand for food more efficient while aligning with society’s environmental needs.

Application

Space is limited and interested students apply by submitting a current résumé and one-page essay that answers these questions:

  • Why are you interested in the program?
  • What related background or experience do you bring to the program?
  • What do you most hope to gain from the program?

To apply, submit your résumés and essays to Carin Hotaling at clhotaling@ucdavis.edu as soon as possible but no later than Wednesday, March 29.  You will hear within one week of submitting your application.

Academic Credit Option: MBA students can earn one unit of academic credit by registering for MGT498 with Professor Andrew Hargadon, faculty lead for the program, and completing the additional written assignments. (Note: you don’t have to take the one-unit course to enroll in the program.)

2017 Session Schedule

Admission to the Food and Ag Innovation program is required.

Sessions are on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Gallagher Hall in Davis. The dates are April 8, April 15, April 22, May 6, May 13, May 20 and June 3. Participants are expected to attend all sessions.
