Developing Customer Analytics for Decision Making & Building a Customer Centric Strategy
Ashwin Aravindakshan is an Associate Professor at UC Davis Graduate School of Management. He earned his Ph.D. at the University of Maryland, Robert H. Smith School of Business. In his career, he researches and explores areas of marketing revolving around customer centricity and customer marketing, optimizing advertising allocations and targeted marketing strategies. He has worked with several companies to help optimize their advertising expenditures and media schedules – both at the aggregate and customer level.
Gina Dokko is an Associate Professor at UC Davis Graduate School of Management. Before earning a Ph.D. at the Wharton School, Professor Dokko worked in strategy, product management, and marketing at 3M and American Express.

Kimberly Elsbach focuses her research on the acquisition and maintenance of organizational images, identities and reputations, especially images of legitimacy, trustworthiness and creativity. She also teaches and studies negotiation skills in competitive business environments. Her research provides a framework for communicating with shareholders, customers and employees to build trust and long-term organizational success. Dr.
Greta Hsu is an Associate Professor at UC Davis Graduate School of Management. She has published numerous articles on organizational and competitive dynamics in a wide set of industries, including high-technology start-ups, feature films, wine, and cigarettes. At Davis, she has taught the courses on strategy and organizational structure, strategic human resource management, and individual and group dynamics. Prior to coming to Davis, she received her PhD in Organizational Behavior, and Master’s degree in Statistics and Sociology from Stanford University.
Jim Olson is a guest lecturer at UC Davis Graduate School of Management, where he was named 2013 Robert A.
Hollis Skaife obtained her Ph.D.
Chih-Ling Tsai a distinguished professor in the Graduate School of Management at UC Davis, and he also holds the Robert W. Glock Endowed Chair in Management. He is a recognized expert in the practical application of statistics in business, including regression analysis, model selection, high-dimensional data, time series analysis and biostatistics. He has had more than 100 research papers published in academic journals relating to statistics, marketing, finance and biostatistics.
David Woodruff is an expert in optimization modeling in practical and academic realms. He is a co-developer of Pyomo, which is an open-source optimization modeling tool and he is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal on Computing of the society called the Institute for Operations Research and Management Science.
