Joy Hermsen is passionate about helping leadership teams achieve their goals. An effective and inspiring coach with more than 22 years of experience, she helps people discover their strengths, and develop individual leadership skills for success.

Joy’s expertise comes from leading groups – large and small – in public and private organizations. She began her operations career at PepsiCo, then worked for Round Table Franchise Corporation as Director of Training, Director of Operations Consulting, and Director of Company-Owned Stores, with line responsibility for 63 units in three states. In 2004, Joy co-founded Nimble Training and Jill B. Nimble, an athletic training company that supported people of all ages to achieve a lifelong fitness goal, such as completing a marathon, a triathlon or a century bicycle ride. She currently serves as the leader of Community Engagement for Levi’s GranFondo, the largest “fondo”  in the United States and one of the fastest-growing cycling events in the world.

Joy earned her master’s in business administration from the UC Davis Graduate School of Management, and her bachelor’s in political science at UCD. She served as president on several boards, including the UCD GSM Alumni Association, Girls on the Run Sonoma County, and the Early Bird Women’s Developmental Cycling Team. An alumna of the Sacramento Entrepreneurship Academy, she serves on its faculty. She also teaches business courses including organizational development, entrepreneurship and marketing at Santa Rosa Junior College.

(Davis, CA) — The UC Davis Part-Time MBA program offered in Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area is ranked among the top 9% in the U.S., according to U.S. News & World Report’s latest graduate business school rankings.

At No. 29, this is the fourth consecutive year the UC Davis Part-Time MBA program is among the top AACSB International-accredited part-time MBA programs surveyed. This year, there were 323 part-time MBA programs surveyed.

(Davis, CA) — The UC Davis Graduate School of Management’s Full-Time MBA program is ranked among the premier business schools in the nation for the 20th consecutive year, according to U.S. News & World Report’s latest graduate business school rankings released today.

U.S. News’ latest ranking places the Full-Time MBA program at No. 48, placing it among the top 10% of the 464 Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International’s accredited full-time MBA programs surveyed.
