The skills and knowledge I gained at UC Davis enabled me to scale BioWare Sacramento from two to a team of 70 in just 24 months. Along the way, I tapped into organizational behavior and commitment theory for recruitment and team building; finance and accounting to shape a sustainable business; and courses that fueled my entrepreneurial drive. Today I’m running on the thrill of doing exactly what I want to do.

• In three short years, has bootstrapped BioWare Sacramento into a multi-million-dollar social online game company with more than 70 employees focused on creating fantasy and sci-fi role-playing games

• Incubated and grew BioWare Sacramento in the storage space above his first venture, the successful midtown Sacramento gourmet yogurt shop, Mochii Yogurt
• Previous career: Seven years in management at Franklin Templeton Investments
• Paying back: Consistently gives time, expertise and financial support to the Graduate School of Management
• Latest support: Multi-year major gift pledge to establish the Otero Faculty Resource Center in Gallagher Hall, the School’s UC Davis home, and to support faculty research in marketing and entrepreneurship
