Wendy Beecham leads the customized and open enrollment executive education programs taught by the School’s world-renowned faculty experts.

Previously, Beecham was CEO of Watermark (formerly the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs and Executives) an organization of experienced women leaders in the San Francisco Bay Area. Since 2007, she led a transformation of the organization by updating the strategy to ensure the Watermark’s offerings were more relevant for its members. She led initiatives to retool Watermark’s mission, upgrade the quality of the programming, re-brand the organization and add new member benefits including the Watermark Institute Board Access™ Program to empower women to seek public and private board seats.

Beecham brings over 25 years of corporate leadership experience. She spent the majority of her career in electronic publishing, holding a variety of senior leadership roles including senior vice president of a division at LexisNexis Group and managing director of London-based Sweet & Maxwell Group, a legal division of the Thomson Corporation. Most recently, she was president and founder of Flawless Leadership, a boutique consulting firm that coached C-level business leaders on executive performance. In addition, she was chair for two CEO Peer Groups with Vistage International, the world’s largest CEO membership organization.

Beecham was recently honored with the 2011 Alum of the Year award by the College of Information at the University of North Texas. She also has been honored with the 2010 Women of Influence award from the San Jose Business Journal honoring 100 women of influence in Silicon Valley, and the 2010 History Makers Award.

Beecham serves on the board of Granicus, Inc., an award-winning provider of software-as-a-service for government, and is on the Advisory Boards of Dynamic Results , an international boutique consulting firm and Luminate Ventures, a fund focused on investing in women-led businesses.
