INFORMATION YOU NEED TO REGISTER FOR CLASSES:
Your UC Davis LoginID, Kerberos passphrase

Registration Process
Registration in RaPS transmits to the campus system on an hourly during these times:
Monday – Friday 6:00am to 12 midnight
Saturday – Sunday 10:00am to 6:00pm.

Any registration and payment submitted outside these times are date/time stamped and submitted as soon as the campus system re-opens. Students are enrolled in courses based on the date/time stamp of their registration for the quarter.  Approximately 24 hours after registration, students receive an automated enrollment confirmation email.  If a confirmation email is not received, return to the Course Schedule application, Manage Schedule and check your status there. Do not verify enrollment in SmartSite.

As a reminder, ALL GSM registration activity (adding and/or dropping) must be done in RaPS, NOT SISWEB, prior to adding any non-GSM classes. By entering registration changes directly into SISWEB, students will automatically activate a registration freeze on their accounts. A freeze will also be applied when non-GSM courses are entered into SISWEB prior to the completion of GSM course registration in RaPS. Be advised that it may take in excess of 72 hours to resolve the conflict in both systems.

Manage Schedule
In the RaPS, log in (UCD LoginID and Kerberos passphrase) and build your schedule in Manage Schedule by selecting courses you plan to take for the quarter.

Pre-requisite Course Listings

Wait List Process
In RaPS, when a class is fully enrolled, a wait list is started immediately.  If a space becomes available, the student will automatically be enrolled. Your place on the wait list is based on the date/time stamp of your registration.

GSM Policy and Procedure for Wait Lists: When a course has a wait list, it is monitored closely by the GSM administration.  No decisions will be made about the possibility of increasing the course enrollment or changing classrooms until AFTER registration has closed.  Because of a variety of factors, it is not always possible to accommodate wait listed students.  Our goal is to provide the best educational experience for all students and every effort is made each quarter with this in mind.
The instructor cannot change your place on the wait list.

STUDENTS STILL NEED SISWEB FOR THE FOLLOWING:
Reviewing your UC Davis student account
Graduate Financial Aid packaging and awards
Confirming your quarterly course enrollments
Final grades
Enrolling in non-MBA courses at UC Davis

SISWEB AVAILABILITY:
Monday – Friday, 6:00am-midnight, Saturday – Sunday, 10:00am-6:00pm
SISWEB FREEZE: September 15-18

PAYMENT INFORMATION

STUDENT BILLS
Your account balance is generated after you enroll in courses. Students can view and pay account balances at mybill.ucdavis.edu. You are responsible for paying all fees and other debts by the posted deadlines. No bills are mailed to students. This bill is a statement of funds owed to the university, not your student account that will include financial aid disbursements.

If you are expecting a financial aid disbursement for part or all of your fees, it is generally disbursed to your student account 2-3 days prior to the fee payment deadline for the quarter (provided above).

ADDITIONAL REGISTRATION INFORMATION

INDEPENDENT or GROUP STUDY (298, 299, 498, 499 Courses)

These course titles appear as “Directed Independent Study” or “Directed Group Study”.

COURSE REGISTRATION CHANGES and SmartSite
When you change courses after initial enrollment or add an additional course, it takes 24 hours for the information to be updated in SmartSite.  The change is not reflected immediately.
