CORE COURSE
WAIVERS
All first year students are required to complete four core
courses during fall quarter. Under very specific
guidelines, you can waive three of these courses. If you
waive a course, you would replace those units with an elective
course. (Review each elective course description to make
sure you meet any pre-requisite requirements or contact the GSM
Registrar who is available to advise you on selection of
appropriate electives.) You will find waiver information
posted on the Incoming Students web page under Core Course
Waivers. Enroll in all four core courses now. If you
waive out of a course, you will be able to drop the core course
at that time.
INSTRUCTION BEGINS
Thursday, September 27
For all other dates, check the Academic Calendar, which includes dates
for the entire year.
Reminder: You are expected to attend classes through the date of your last final. Please schedule any holiday travel after your last final date fall quarter.
