Ben Finkelor – Team Building

In this role, he manages the general operations of the organization, including the establishment and on-going oversight of strategic research collaborations between key faculty, staff and students at UC Davis. Cleve Justis – Giving & Receiving Feedback

Cleve Justis is the executive director of the Child Family Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Justis leads the institute’s strategic direction, program development, fundraising and relations with relevant academic programs at UC Davis as well as its growing network of partners.

Steve Lee — Research on Success

Image of Orientation 2015 Expert SpeakersSteve Lee will present on “Grit, the Growth Mindset and the Marshmallow Test”. He is the Graduate Diversity Officer for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) related programs at UC Davis.

He previously trained and mentored graduate students at Northwestern University, where he served as an assistant director for a graduate professional development program. He has also served on the faculty of Roosevelt University and Wheaton College, and earned a PhD in chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a BS in chemistry from Carnegie Mellon University.


Joyful Simpson – Improv Program

Previous to that, he spent time at Deutsche Banc London, Morgan Stanley and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Cort Worthington is on faculty at the Haas School of Business, teaching leadership, communication, and negotiation courses for MBA and Executive MBA students.  As a leadership consultant his organizational client list includes Kaiser, Oracle, Yahoo!, the US Army, Pixar, the US Olympic Team, Stanford University, and the government of Saudi Arabia.

Cort holds an MA in Communication from Stanford University, an MBA from Columbia University Business School, and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.

Dan Beaudry was most recently the Campus Recruiting Manager for Monster.com. Prior to joining Monster, Dan was the Associate Director of Corporate Recruiting for the Boston University School of Management where he developed the school’s “International Student Employment Series”.

Over the past ten years, Dan has been on all sides of recruiting: from hiring manager to candidate counselor to third-party recruiter. He holds a BA from Vanderbilt University, an MA in International Relations from Boston University, and language certifications from La Sorbonne in Paris.

At No. 29, this is the fourth consecutive year the UC Davis Part-Time MBA program is among the top AACSB International-accredited part-time MBA programs surveyed. This year, there were 323 part-time MBA programs surveyed.
