Welcome to the UC Davis MBA Community!  We are so excited that you will be joining us in September and are looking forward to meeting you at Orientation. 
 

KEY DATES AND DEADLINES
  • Closed- Sign-up for Orientation
  • Closed – Sign-up for optional Course Waiver Exams.
  • September 8 – Orientation Day One in Davis.  
  • September 9 – Orientation Day Two at the Bay Area campus and Sacramento campus.  
  • OPTIONAL – September 22 – Ropes Course in Sonoma.
ORIENTATION 2012

As a UC Davis MBA student you are joining one of the nation’s top research universities.  We are hosting your MBA Orientation in Davis to highlight your connection to the UC Davis campus.  Orientation is your opportunity to learn everything you need to know about achieving your goals and excelling at UC Davis.  On Saturday, September 8th, we are bringing together all incoming Part-time MBA students, both from Sacramento and the Bay Area.  Sunday, September 9th, will be an opportunity to engage with students from your location in a smaller setting and to get familiar with the UC Davis Bishop Ranch facility in San Ramon or Sacramento Education Building.  During both days, we will be presenting essential program information and introducing you to your fellow classmates.  Come prepared to be impressed by the people and opportunities you will enjoy over the next few years.

Information About the Optional Ropes Course

The ropes course is a fantastic and fun teambuilding activity. The day will include group games, wall climbing, and both low and high ropes elements. A day of ropes course challenges your physical, mental, and emotional stamina.  The team building exercises provide a great foundation of trust and collaboration for yourself and your classmates.  This is a great chance to try new things, and to identify and break through challenges – a key component of becoming a more effective manager.

Fourth Consecutive Year among U.S News & World Report's Premier Programs

(Davis, CA) — The UC Davis Part-Time MBA program offered in Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area is ranked among the top 9% in the U.S., according to U.S. News & World Report’s latest graduate business school rankings.

At No. 29, this is the fourth consecutive year the UC Davis Part-Time MBA program is among the top AACSB International-accredited part-time MBA programs surveyed. This year, there were 323 part-time MBA programs surveyed.

(Davis, CA) — The UC Davis Graduate School of Management’s Full-Time MBA program is ranked among the premier business schools in the nation for the 20th consecutive year, according to U.S. News & World Report’s latest graduate business school rankings released today.

U.S. News’ latest ranking places the Full-Time MBA program at No. 48, placing it among the top 10% of the 464 Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International’s accredited full-time MBA programs surveyed.
