The Graduate School of Management is accepting applications for a TA appointment during the Fall Quarter of 2014. This appointment is for Professor Nick Briscoe.
TA responsibilities include:
Teaching review sessions. Approx 2-3 per week.
Holding office hours.
Answer emails from students.
Assist with grading.
Student is NOT required to attend lectures.
160. Financing New Business Ventures (4)
Lecture—3 hours; discussion—1 hour. Prerequisite: course 11A, Mathematics 16B, 17B, or 21B, Statistics 100, 102, 103, or 108. Concepts and methods used to structure and finance new business ventures. Topics include the evaluation of new investment projects, raising venture capital, the role of the venture capitalist, and the choice of organizational structure in new ventures.—N. Briscoe
