The Graduate School of Management is accepting applications for a Reader appointment during the Spring Quarter of 2015. This appointment is for Professor Kim Elsbach, 201A The Individual and Group Dynamics.
Course Description (MGP/T/B 201A )
Examines basic psychological and social psychological processes shaping human behavior and applies knowledge of these processes to the problem of working with and managing others in organizations. Topics include: motivation, job design, commitment, socialization, culture, individual and group decision making and team building.
TA duties and responsibilities include:
Teaching assistants are responsible for conducting discussion sections, holding office hours, and grading homework. It is TA’s responsibility to participate in regular class as well as his/her discussion section. This rule guarantees that there would be no problem in sharing in proctoring and grading exams, sharing responsibility equally among fellow TAs. You may be asked to administer midterms and finals for lecture and be asked to hold extra office hours during midterms/finals.
MGP/T/B 201A: Appointment will be a 25% variable (i.e. 10 hours per week)
