Eligibility to Apply for the Minor

Targeted Majors

Due to limited enrollment, only students from the following majors will be allowed to apply to the Technology Management Minor.  The minor is designed to combine business and management skills with a student’s understanding of engineering and scientific processes.

Continuing UCD Students

In addition to being in an eligible major, students will need to have at least one quarter of UC Davis coursework on their academic record to apply for the minor.  since part of the selection criteria includes an overall GPA at the time of the application, a UC Davis GPA is needed to apply.

If you currently in your first quarter at UC Davis, you are welcome to apply during the next admissions cycle.

Changing Majors in the Technology Management Program

If a student changes majors after being admitted to the Technology Management Minor Program to a major that is not eligible for the program, the student is no longer eligible to continue in the Technology Management Minor Program.
