Five finalists presented at the May 22 Final Pitch and Awards Ceremony. The People’s Choice Award was selected by the audience at the end of the evening. Judges selected all other awards.

Archer is a software startup company providing a 3D-gesture-based Smart TV OS for TV service and device companies. Archer’s intellectual property (IP)-protected technology and interface design help its customers dramatically improve the TV user experience with the point of a finger.

GuardN delivers a smart sprinkler system that decreases the environmental impact of water waste and lowers landscaping costs for the average homeowner.

Ambercycle Inc. has developed a system to degrade plastics so that they are cheaper and easier to recycle.

MedWorks Medicine by Design provides an online collaborative platform to engage everyone to learn about and design medicine computationally. Those designs are refined and sold to biotech and pharmaceutical companies, helping to accelerate the medicine-making process.

Nevap Inc. is a medical device company that creates solutions to prevent hospital-acquired infections. Their current device prevents ventilator-associated pneumonia.

Zasaka offers agricultural products and services targeted to smallholder farmer customers.

zInspector is a cloud-based content management framework for property management, real estate, construction and home improvement industries.
