In addition to her job responsibilities, Jill has devoted much time working for the GSM community. She has been one of Agilent’s campus managers for the School for the last eight  years. She represented Agilent at nine GSM career fairs and has hosted two “Shadow Days” for GSM students, along with spearheading the effort to arrange for Agilent sponsorship as a premier sponsor at the 2010 ASM golf tournament.

Jill has conducted more than 30 informational interviews with students over the last eight years and has been instrumental in hiring 12 student interns and 14 career employees from the GSM…making Agilent the 11th largest employer of GSM alumni. 2010 was her “best” year, having hired four interns and four fulltime hires from the School. In addition, Jill continues her efforts by coordinating monthly lunches for Agilent-employed GSM alums at the Santa Clara site.

Jill earned her undergraduate degree in chemical engineering at Virginia Tech. She and her husband, Mark, have a three-year-old son. They have been generous donors to the GSM Annual Fund, Jill’s graduating class gift and the Take a Seat campaign.
