Amy Russell
Associate Director of Admissions

Amy joined the Graduate School of Management (GSM) at the University of California, Davis in August 2010. She is currently Associate Director of Admissions, with a primary focus on recruitment for the UC Davis Part-time MBA in the Bay Area.

She is an Aggie through and through, and loves working with prospective students to help them join this tight-knit community.  Amy graduated from UC Davis a decade ago with a BA in History.  She went to another UC for her MA in Education.  She spent five years in Seattle as the Director of Outreach for a national nonprofit before returning to campus.  After a couple years recruiting UC Davis MBAs and seeing the fantastic experience students had in the classroom and opportunities they created, she decided to join the program as well.  She is currently a second-year Part-time Bay Area candidate.

Amy grew up in San Francisco, and has strong roots in the Bay Area.  She also competed 13 years in track and field, including at the collegiate and Master’s level.  She is currently retired from the sport, but is known to sprint towards Gunrock sightings in hopes of getting a photo opp with the school mascot

(Davis, CA) — The UC Davis Part-Time MBA program offered in Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area is ranked among the top 9% in the U.S., according to U.S. News & World Report’s latest graduate business school rankings.

At No. 29, this is the fourth consecutive year the UC Davis Part-Time MBA program is among the top AACSB International-accredited part-time MBA programs surveyed. This year, there were 323 part-time MBA programs surveyed.

(Davis, CA) — The UC Davis Graduate School of Management’s Full-Time MBA program is ranked among the premier business schools in the nation for the 20th consecutive year, according to U.S. News & World Report’s latest graduate business school rankings released today.

U.S. News’ latest ranking places the Full-Time MBA program at No. 48, placing it among the top 10% of the 464 Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International’s accredited full-time MBA programs surveyed.
