Since our charter class graduated more than 25 years ago, alumni
from the UC Davis Graduate School of Management have been making
their presence known around the world.
Our graduates are CEOs, vice presidents, chief financial
officers, chief operating officers and entrepreneurs. Around the
globe, they have taken prominent roles as international business
leaders in a wide range of industries and organizations.
Graduate School of Management alumni are actively involved in
their communities, and they make time for mentoring, advising and
assisting current students and networking with fellow graduates.
Associated Students of Management (ASM)
The ASM provides the framework for incorporating student ideas into the MBA program, networking with alumni, engaging in philanthropic activities, and coordinating extracurricular and social events. Its mission is to enhance the value of students’ experience by creating a collaborative community that facilitates academic, social and professional growth while building a reputation for innovation and excellence.
GSM Finance Association
The Finance Association is dedicated to extending the GSM finance curriculum beyond the classroom. By partnering with faculty, student organizations, outside experts and institiutions we are fortunate to have regular roundtables on current finance topics. We also provide networking opportunities with current students and graduates by holding regular socials and running a stock simulation competition.
Net Impact
This network of emerging business leaders is committed to using the power of business to create a better world. NI offers programs to help its members broaden their business education, refine their leadership skills, and pursue their professional goals, while building their network. The UC Davis chapter has been recognized by the national organization for both its high level of participation and its innovation.
Big Bang! Business Plan Competition
Big Bang! is the annual UC Davis Business Plan Competition organized by MBA students of the Graduate School of Management. The goal of the contest is to promote entrepreneurship at UC Davis and the region supported by the University.
MBA Challenge for Charity
We are a student run club that organizes volunteering and fundraising events for our community partners: The Special Olympics of Northern California, the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Sacramento and Team Davis.
Marketing Club
We invite you to get involved with our club’s many activities targeted at enriching your knowledge, network of contacts, and experience at UC Davis. Our goal is to increase members’ knowledge of marketing and to provide additional career exposure for the marketing concentration. We achieve these goals through speakers in the marketing field, site visits to local companies, and participation in marketing case analysis.
Sacramento MBA Student Council
The Dean’s Student Advisory Council (DSAC) works to ensure that Sacramento students are represented to the Dean and administration. The DSAC also helps plan social events for students and helps connect students in all three MBA programs and alumni. The committee also assists the GSM in recruiting students to participate in a variety of school-wide events including seminars and activities.
Women In Leadership
The mission of Women in Leadership (WiL) is to serve the Graduate School of Management and the greater Davis and Northern California communities through professional and social activities dedicated to educating and empowering women leaders in all forms of organizations, and exploring the role of women in positions of leadership.
Community Consulting Group
To provide practical business solutions for non-profits and organizations with community-oriented projects and to give MBA students the opportunity to apply learned skills to real-world situations.
Bay Area Finance Association
The mission of the Finance Association Bay Area Professional Chapter is to educate and prepare students at the Graduate School of Management for a career in Finance and Investments.
BioTech Business
The Bay Area is home to one of the largest biotechnology and healthcare hubs in the world. Biotechnology and healthcare are complex industries to navigate and require a fundamental balance of science, business, and social responsibility. Our mission focuses efforts and skills on the business of biotechnology and healthcare by creating student leadership that proactively participates in the promotion of industry activities, educational forums, and entrepreneurship..
Working Professional MBA Dean’s Student Advisory Council
The council is comprised of Working Professional MBA students appointed by the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs.
