Professional Leadership and Experience:

Marketing & Brand Management: SMUD 2011 – Present

  • Assist in the establishment and implementation of the newly renovated SMUD brand
  • Serve as team lead for over 20 brand management projects
  • Manage internal brand center on company intranet site to provide branded materials to the organization
  • Assist in facilitation of branding campaign through all marketing channels (TV, print, web, outdoor)
  • Assist in planning, communication and facilitation of annual employee celebration

Market Research: SMUD 2011 – Present

  • Serve as the research lead for the annual customer and employee engagement survey with partner The Gallup Organization
  • Coordinate employee records, org structure and dynamics for survey administration and reporting
  • Coordinate results with consultant and prepare presentations for executive management
  • Respond to managers and supervisors requests as follow up to communicated results

Communications & PR + Corporate Brand Management: California ISO 2009 – 2011

  • Assist in the planning and project management of corporate/marketing materials including the Annual Report, Strategic Plan, corporate brochure and media kit
  • Through vendor contracts and invoice tracking, manage the overall yearly budget for CommPR
  • Order, track and distribute all logo related promotional/marketing items

  • Love to hike, fish, camp and explore throughout Northern California
  • Enjoy time in the kitchen mostly baking and creating fun desserts for events
  • As a former nanny and lifetime babysitter, I love spending my spare time with kids
  • Since joining the MBA program, I discovered a deeper love for marketing and all things brand related

Not only do I know that the UCD MBA will be a valuable addition to my resume in the future, the courses I am taking are already applying to my job on a daily basis. I’m also learning more than the bottom line of business. This dynamic program is helping me to grow as a well rounded professional and individual.

(Davis, CA) — The UC Davis Part-Time MBA program offered in Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area is ranked among the top 9% in the U.S., according to U.S. News & World Report’s latest graduate business school rankings.

At No. 29, this is the fourth consecutive year the UC Davis Part-Time MBA program is among the top AACSB International-accredited part-time MBA programs surveyed. This year, there were 323 part-time MBA programs surveyed.

U.S. News’ latest ranking places the Full-Time MBA program at No. 48, placing it among the top 10% of the 464 Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International’s accredited full-time MBA programs surveyed.
