Ted Howes is passionate about using the
lens of business and sustainability to guide corporate
strategy.
As head of IDEO’s Energy Domain and a recognized expert in
integrating sustainability
and business factors, he has dedicated his career to exploring
the intersection of business and environmental issues.
Background
Before joining IDEO in 2007, Howes was vice president for
corporate social responsibility and supply chain programs at
Scientific Certification Systems, consulting for start-ups to
Fortune 50 corporations, including Walmart, Numi Tea, The Home
Depot and Starbucks. He serves on the Net Impact Advisory Council
and The World Economic Forum’s agenda group on sustainable
consumption, and is a regular
speaker on energy and sustainability.
