from the UC Davis Graduate School of Management have been making
their presence known around the world.
Our graduates are CEOs, vice presidents, chief financial
officers, chief operating officers and entrepreneurs. Around the
globe, they have taken prominent roles as international business
leaders in a wide range of industries and organizations.
Graduate School of Management alumni are actively involved in
their communities, and they make time for mentoring, advising and
assisting current students and networking with fellow graduates.
Dean’s Distinguished Speaker Series and Executive Networking Events
The Graduate School of Management hosts high-level executives and business leaders to campus for special speaking engagements. These speakers share their experiences—their ups, downs, struggles and successes. Attendees enjoy participating in question-and-answer sessions as well as one-on-one conversations. Read More to find upcoming speakers, past events, photos and video.
Robert A. Fox Executive-in-Residence Program
Each year the School invites a senior-level, often recently retired, executive to teach a course on management strategy. The Robert A. Fox Executive-in-Residence Program gives students and faculty a unique opportunity to work closely with a top business leader. Students take the basic analytical skills they have learned in other courses and see how they apply in real business situations.
Special Guest Speakers
One way faculty incorporate real-world management issues into their classes is by inviting executives from key areas of business to guest lecture. These executives candidly share their experiences, focusing on their successes abd the challenges they have faced in their careers and what they learned from the frontlines of business leadership.
Executive Leadership Seminar
Launched in 2007, this seminar brings successful corporate leaders to the Bay Area MBA program to teach important lessons from the frontlines of industry. Executives share their first-hand experiences of the complexities of today’s business world, inspiring students to seek new ways to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
This year’s Executive Leadership Seminar is taught by Jim Wunderman, president and CEO of the Bay Area Council, a business-backed public policy organization.
