Elizabeth Moon Elizabeth Moon, Associate Director of Career Development and Chief Diversity Officer

Moon joined the Graduate School of Management’s Career Development team in January 2014, bringing a focus on career counseling and an expertise in working with international students. She provides all students with career assistance in the areas of resumes, cover letters, interviewing, job/internship search strategies, negotiations, networking and business etiquette. In addition, she has developed workshops that focus on English communication, cultural skills, and immigration opportunities and challenges for International students who wish to bridge into an American business culture/environment.

Moon’s more than 20 years experience as an education professional includes teaching, curriculum development, administering assessment measures, career counseling and supervising at the elementary, secondary and post-secondary levels, primarily working with special populations, including ESL, EFL, first-time, re-entry, basic skills and at-risk students from widely diverse academic linguistic, ethnic and cultural backgrounds

Ryan Swinney Ryan Swinney, MBA 19

Ryan Swinney, M.D. is a current Full-Time MBA 19 student and cofounder of the GSM Pride Network. Born and raised in Northern California, he has strong ties to the surrounding community, and looks forward to continuing this relationship.

He obtained his B.A. in Healthy Psychology from Stanford University, and subsequently completed his medical degree at the University of Southern California, where he specialized in pediatric care. His MBA focuses on operations and strategy to complement his prior experience in clinical medicine, research, and healthcare services.

Jesse Rodriguez  Jesse Rodriguez, MBA 19

Jesse Rodriguez B.S. 13, MBA 19 has dedicated his time to working for the community and empowering youth. The UC Davis Cal Aggie Alumni Association (CAAA) has recognized him recently with its 2017 Young Alumnus Award.

Rodriguez graduated from UC Davis in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in economics and a minor in sociology. He’s returned to earn his MBA in Sacramento Part-Time MBA program at the Graduate School of Management.
