Former CIA Director James Woolsey Speaks at the GSM
Former CIA director, turned-clean tech venture capitalist, R. James Woolsey spoke at the UC Davis Graduate School of Management on Jan. 22 to discuss renewable energy and energy security. Woolsey says that U.S. dependence on Middle Eastern oil ranks “very high” as a national security concern.
Woolsey is a venture partner with VantagePoint Venture Partners of San Bruno, California. He also currently chairs the Strategic Advisory Group of the Washington, D.C. private equity fund, Paladin Capital Group; and is of Counsel to the Washington, D.C. office of the Boston-based law firm, Goodwin Procter. In the above capacities he specializes in a range of alternative energy and security issues.
