Professor Brad Barber in the L.A. Times: Apple Stock Sell-off “Awfully Dramatic”
Recently, the LA Times posted an article describing shareholders’ emotional investment in Apple. The piece is in response to Apple’s recent 12% stock value decline. The expert the Times turned to for insight on the case? The GSM’s own Dr. Brad Barber.
Professor Barber is the Finance Director at the GSM, and he also happens to teach the core Financial Theory and Policy course. You can read Professor Barber’s take on Apple’s stock sell-off here.
While Professor Barber is an expert in his field (he’s one of the top 5o finance scholars in the world), he is also an excellent teacher. As a prospective student, you can get a sneak peak into his finance course by visiting campus. The GSM allows students to discover more about our collaborative culture and small-class environment by sitting in on a class. After the class, you will be paired with an MBA Ambassador for a conversation about our program. I highly recommend taking advantage of the opportunity to understand more about getting your MBA, and to candidly talk with a current student.
