Student Life-GSM Connections

It’s a few minutes after three on a Wednesday afternoon. Your tummy is grumbling; you could definitely use a pick-me-up.

Luckily, there’s GSM Connections. Once a week, we have snacks and drinks (including coffee, for those days when only caffeine will suffice) downstairs in our foyer. It’s an informal chance to mingle with staff, faculty, and students. Sometimes there are speakers; last week we listened to presentations from the students who spent Fall Quarter abroad. Sometimes you’ll run into your professor from last quarter and have the chance to brainstorm about a Community Consulting Group project you’re interested in joining. Always it’s a great chance to catch up with fellow students you haven’t seen in a while, and maybe even start a quick game of cards.

So come by for carrot sticks and a cookie or two. 30 minutes later, you’ll be back to work rejuvenated and ready to go.
