It’s that time again! Fall is in the air, and school is back in session. Everyone is excited for the new year and the new faces roaming the GSM. The second years, myself included, are thrilled to welcome the new first years to our family. We can’t wait to get to know them!
We will have a chance this weekend, as we all embark on our annual Tahoe retreat to get to know each other. Last year’s Tahoe trip was a blast, and I’m sure this weekend will be just as fun. There will be plenty of beach lounging, horseshoe throwing, hiking and corn hole to go around. Stay tuned for details and pictures from our adventure!
It’s not all fun and games at the GSM though. Yesterday was the first day of classes. I had my first Management of Innovation course with Professor Andy Hargadon, and it looks to be a promising and interesting class.
We also begin the second part of our IMPACT curriculum this year. We will take on a 20-week consulting project with a group of our peers. We are anxious to find out which companies we will get the opportunity to work with. Of course, I’ll share the news when we find out!
