Our Mission

Our aim is to provide an environment for students to develop new business ideas and bring them to fruition. We also create a forum for students to connect with venture capitalists, angel investors, GSM alumni, mentors, advisors, business school students and other entrepreneurs. The EIA works closely with the Davis, Sacramento, and Bay Area business communities.

Anthony Bulaclac
President

Anthony Bulaclac A passionate leader and serial innovator who is dedicated to solving today’s problems through the implementation of technical solutions and improved human interactions. A seasoned military professional who focuses on the importance of engaged leadership, healthy group culture, and effective communication in the development of cohesive teams with optimized performance. 

Mekdem Wright
Partner Relations

Mekdem Wright Mekdem is an MBA Candidate with a B.S. in Environmental Engineering. He has 5+ years’ experience as an analyst, strategist, consultant, & entrepreneur relating to sustainable resource management in both the public and private sectors, across the areas of water, energy, food, & waste. He is passionate about sustainable local and global community and economic development and aims to work with speed, scale, and impact to drive real systemic change.

Mai Nguyen
Director of Finance and Operations

Mai Nguyen Mai Nguyen is an MBA candidate and a Product Marketing/Business Analytics professional with 4+ years working in high-tech firms and software startups. She has a strong passion for data-driven products, digitalized solutions, and predictive analytics. As a fan of Steve Jobs and his philosophy, Mai aims to disseminate the entrepreneurial and growth mindset to her local business community.
