Our Mission

Our aim is to provide an environment for students to develop new business ideas and bring them to fruition. We also create a forum for students to connect with venture capitalists, angel investors, GSM alumni, mentors, advisors, business school students and other entrepreneurs. The EIA works closely with the Davis, Sacramento and Bay Area business communities.

Meet Our Board

Stephen Auyeung


Stephen is an MBA candidate at the Graduate School of Management focusing on Business Analytics. He graduated with degrees in Economics and East Asian Studies from UCLA, and spent 7 years working with ecommerce startups in San Francisco. Stephen also has experience with web development and data science. In his free time, Stephen enjoys reading, hiking and playing video games.

Brianna Wright

Vice President

Brianna is a 2018 MBA Candidate at the Graduate School of Management concentrating in Organizational Behavior and Strategy. Her interests lie in innovation, particularly how larger companies foster innovation. She now works for Golden 1 Credit Union in the Corporate HR Department.  She also serves as Director of Information for GSM Associated Students of Management, Vice Chair of the Folsom Leading Young Professionals, and remains an active member of GSM Women in Leadership. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and wine tasting.​​

Howard Wu

Director of Operations

 Howard is a 2018 MBA candidate focusing on entrepreneurship and marketing. He earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA and worked for several years as an engineer. Howard then moved to Utah to pursue his dream of skiing every single day.  He used his engineering skills to start a custom ski design and manufacturing business.  Howard came to UC Davis to develop more skills for meaningful work.  When there’s snow, he skis.  When there’s no snow, he rides mountain bikes.

Bopaiah Machetira Dalu 

Director of Marketing

 Bopaiah has over 8 years of progressive experience in the field of retail, enterprise development and customer relationship management. He is currently pursuing his MBA from the Graduate School of Management with emphases on Marketing Analytics, Operations and Technology Management. He works part-time with a startup based out of Fremont, building marketing mix models to help clients improve ROI on their advertising spend. He also remotely manages his startup in interior design based out of India. He is an active member of Challenge for Charity, a club helping non-profits build better lives. In his free time, he likes reading, listening to music, and experimenting with different cuisines.
