That’s a shame because it keeps people from exploring entrepreneurship as a career. It’s like thinking the only career in music is to be frontman in a rock band. Each year, the UC Davis Big Bang! Business Competition brings together interdisciplinary teams of students, researchers and faculty with mentors from the region’s business community. The event is sponsored by the Child Family Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
In March, UC Davis hosted 35 Hubert H. Humphrey Fellows at the inaugural International Innovation and Entrepreneurship Academy. The academy represents the university’s expanded involvement in the U.S. Department of State–funded Humphrey Program.
