Product Management Career Panel

  • March 13, 2021 10:00am - 11:30am

Product Management is a function often associated with technology industries, but has been adopted and is now pervasive across all industries. The responsibilities of a product manager are dependent on industry and company philosophy. For instance, some product managers are very narrowly focused on feature definition and project management, while product managers in other environments serve as mini-general managers of their product lines.

This Product Management Career Panel brings together three GSM alumni from Info Technology, Biotech, and Insurance.  All three alumni have been in product management since graduating from the GSM. Marc Lowe will moderate the panel. The panel will discuss what it's like to be a product manager, strategies for PM job search and long term career success, and similarities and differences in the role of product management across industries. There will be an open Q&A session following the panel discussion. Student's from Marc Lowe's Product Management course will be given first priority for questions.
