Yifan Lu currently leads Customer Analytic team in SMUD, where she plans and leads customer analytic initiatives and advocates big data revolution in Utility industry. Prior to joining SMUD, she had ten years of advanced analytic experience in the health care industry, specializing in consumer insights and marketing analytics. She has led projects including customer segmentation, lifetime value and customer experience excellence. In addition, Yifan has a strong interest in education and learning. She has been speaking at conferences, giving trainings to students, as well as publishing papers on utility analytics.
Yifan earned both of her Master of Science and Ph.D. from University of California at Davis.
